At Alchemy Physio, you don't need to decide which treatment or technique is right for you before scheduling. Our work begins with understanding your symptoms, your experiences, and what you're hoping to change.
From there, I draw on my training in physical therapy, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and somatic and experiential approaches to guide our work. Sessions may involve any of the modalities described below, as well as elements of Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy, somatic parts work, and spiritual counseling.
Working Together
Physical Therapy
Assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and movement-related concerns, incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education to improve function and support recovery.
Pain Reprocessing Therapy
An evidence-based approach to treating chronic pain and other persistent symptoms by addressing learned patterns of pain, fear, and threat perception. PRT draws on pain neuroscience and psychological principles to help change how the brain interprets and responds to physical sensations.
Depth Hypnosis
An integrative approach developed by Isa Gucciardi, PhD, combining elements of applied Shamanism, Buddhism, energy medicine, and transpersonal psychology to facilitate healing on deeper levels. Learn more here.
Integrative Dry Needling
A technique using fine, sterile needles to address musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. This approach incorporates peripheral nerve anatomy and may be used to address headaches, neck pain, muscle tension, and other physical symptoms.
Craniosacral Therapy
A gentle, hands-on modality rooted in osteopathic traditions. Using subtle touch and attentive listening to the body's patterns of tension and movement, the practitioner works with the craniosacral system and surrounding tissues to explore restrictions and facilitate release.
Reiki
A Japanese energy healing practice based on the concept of universal life energy. Through gentle touch or hands held near the body, Reiki practitioners seek to support the flow and balance of this energy, creating space for physical, emotional, and energetic healing.
